Tuesday. Everyone from out of town arrived in Raleigh. Tom from New Bern and Eugene, Gary and Jon from California. After lunch at O'Malley's Pub, we ride e-bikes in Raleigh and have dinner at San Jose Mexican in North Raleigh.
Wednesday. After driving to Asheville, we check out Mike's house and the yard. We take a short hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway, and then dinner at Piazza
Thursday. This was a big e-bike day. While the bikes in Raleigh were small mortorcycles with an electric motor, these provided no assist unless you were pedaling. We toured a bit of Asheville, rode up behind and then into the Grove Park Inn.
Friday. Today we visited Chimney Rock State Park. Then lunch at Highlands Kitchen & Bar at Lake Lure
Saturday. We went whitewater rafting with French Broad Adventures. Eugene did not join us as he had tested positive for Covid-19 and decided to quarantine himself.
Sunday. With Gary testing positive for Covid-19 the group called it. Peter, Tom, Jon and Mark went home. Gary and Eugene stayed with Mike a few days.
