The Ninth Day
On Sunday, after dropping off Eugene, Jerry and Dennis at the airport,
the rest of us, Mike, Tom L., Tom P. and Gary just hung out around town.
Mike still had not retrieved the duffel he lost on the Haines Highway on
Wednesday, so we stopped by the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
All of us took
photos because the flowers were so beautiful, and so inconsistent with
the image of a police station.
Just after we arrived a car pulled up and a female Mountie delivered the
goods.
No more photos. It was raining in Vancouver where the five of us crashed
before heading out Monday morning. Mike Jerry and Tom L. headed to Cary,
N.C. Gary headed to L.A. and Tom P. headed to Montreal where he would drive
back into the states.
