Saturday. Team members arrived in Raleigh Friday and we had dinner at Mike's. Today Peter and Mike drove. The house is actually in Lansing, NC. From what we can tell that town has nothing, so we went to West Jefferson and had dinner at New River Brewing.
Sunday. Breakfast prepared by the team, and then we head to Beech Mountain for The Land of Oz.
Monday. We hike a short section of the Appalachian Trail and meet the Grayson Highlands ponies.
Tuesday. We grab bikes and a ride at Damascus, VA and then ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. When we returned to Lansing, after we eat, we take a walk through the neighborhood.
Wednesday. The New River was pretty low, but we rode it in kayaks and a canoe. We rented from New River Outfitters.
Thursday. The day started with a hike on Mount Jefferson. On the way back to our cabin, we disc golfed at the Ashe County Park, in West Jefferson.
Friday. West Jefferson has an Antiques Fair.
Saturday. Back to Raleigh. The last views of the house in Lansing.
