August 16

Team member Mark arrived the afternoon of Saturday August 15. Gary came in later in the evening, but because of airline problems Eugene did not arrive in Raleigh until very early on Sunday the 16th. We met at the Sheetz by the airport and drove up to West Virginia.

August 17

Monday. Breakfast prepared by the team, and then we check out a waterfall nearby. Then we head to the West Virginia State Fair.

Tuesday. The best rafting day EVER at Ace Adventure.

Wednesday. We head out to cycle by the Greenbrier River and then we check out the Greenbrier Resort.

August 20

Thursday. A mixed bag. We check out Thurmond, an old railroad town. Then we drive up to the New River Gorge Bridge, 876 feet over the river. After pizza in Fayetteville we finish with disc golf, back at Ace Adventure.

August 21

Friday. We watch the bridge blow up and then pack up and head home, saying goodbye to Charlie the frog as we leave.
